BIOS Passwords - What are they?

BIOS Passwords are a way of securing your PC or Laptop.  Most if not all PC's and Laptops have this feature but by default it is switched off.  

The BIOS password is a password set at the hardware level this means before windows loads.  Its an extra layer of protection.  

To set the password you need to enter the BIOS and then its normally under security.

It is highly recommened that you set a BIOS on all your  PC's / Laptops.
